Crucianelli's second generation of pickups make its first appearance with this gold sparkle instrument, distributed in the USA under the Reno brand.

Unlike those previously in use the new pickups have two rows of three poles (2 x 2 in bass version) and a bowed top that is supposed to follow fretboard radius. These were mainly cosmetic changes, sound wasn't noticeably modified.

Those new pickups were fitted on all Crucianelli electric guitars throughout 1964 and 1965, and on Crucianellis only. At the time they were introduced (late 1963 I think) the earlier version suddenly showed up with various more or less occasional makes of guitars from Castelfidardo (Bartolini, Dega, Diamond), as if the supplier had been selling up oddments at bargain prices.

La seconda generazione di pickups Crucianelli appare per la prima volta su questo strumento dorato, distribuito in USA sotto il marchio Reno.

Al contrario dei precedenti, i nuovi pickups hanno due file di tre magneti (2 x 2 in versione basso) e una forma curva che in principio segue quella della tastiera. Cambiamento sopratutto cosmetico, non si nota nessuna modifica nel suono.

I nuovi pickups furono montati su tutte le Crucianelli elettriche durante il 1964 e il 1965, e solo sulle Crucianelli. All'epoca della loro introduzione (fine 1963 credo) la vecchia versione è improvvisamente apparsa su certe fabbricazioni più o meno occasionali di Castelfidardo (Bartolini, Dega, Diamond), come se il fornitore avesse liquidato i saldi a prezzi d'occasione.
