For the bass version the arrival of the new headstock design coincides with the introduction of larger machineheads. Those previously in use, being barely bigger than standard six-tring tuners, could indeed awake some concern about their sturdiness.

Crucianelli was still faithfully following Eko's track The new tuners, with their translucent perloid buttons, are just the same model introduced at the same time (rather said, short before) by the Italian market leader for its 1100 bass series.

Per la versione basso l'arrivo della paletta ridisegnata si accompagna all'introduzione di chiavette più grandi. La robustezza di quelle usate prima, appena più forti di chiavette normali per chitarra, poteva in effetti destare qualche preoccupazione di tenuta.

Crucianelli seguiva ancora fedelmente Eko alla lettera. Le nuove chiavette, con bottoni perlinati semi-trasparenti, sono dello stesso modello adottato nello stesso momento (o piuttosto, poco prima) dal capofila italiano per i suoi bassi 1100.
