1964 Price List of Eko products (Belgium)

  This simple leaflet is a document of exceptional interest: it proves that the Eko 995 violin bass was already available by April 1964, when Beatlemania had just begun to explode on a global scale, it mentions the elusive LesPaul.ish Eko 640 (the most expensive in the list), of which no other printed record is known, it also lists the Eko 1500 and 1700 basses (made of solid woods), of which we are not yet sure if they ever really existed to begin with.

For your information, 1,000 Belgian francs was worth $20 USD back then.

  Questo semplice foglio è un documento eccezionalmente interessante: dimostra che il basso viola Eko 995 era già in distribuzione nell'aprile del 1964, quando l'esplosione della Beatlemania a livello planetario era ancora ai suoi inizi. Inoltre viene menzionata l'introvabile lespauloide Eko 640 (la più costosa della lista), mai vista altrove. E per finire, comporta anche i bassi Eko 1500 e 1700 (con corpo in legno massello), dei quali non siamo ancora sicuri se siano mai esistiti veramente .
