The most famous Strat (at least in Europe) of the early 60’s belonged to Hank Marvin of the Shadows and sported the glorious “fiesta red” finish. Thus similarly finished Condors had to exist. We have found this one. There aren’t many available around. In the USA the vintage market is mainly supplied today with new old stock items from LoDuca, and absolutely all are sunburst (these old unsold Condors are generally available from sellers located in Wisconsin but some have been spottted in Europe too!).

The rear view shows a questionable discrepancy between the light red body paint and the greenish burst neck. This finish was standard for all Eko necks in the era 1964-65 whatever the body colour, so there shouldn’t be any concern about the instrument’s originality status.

Il retro mostra un contrasto discutibile fra il rosso luminoso del corpo e il manico sunburst verdastro. Questa finitura era standard per tutti i manici Eko dell’era 1964-65, con qualsiasi colore del corpo, quindi non c’è motivo di dubitare dello stato di originalità dello strumento.
