Hardware and electronic are absolutely identical to contemporary Morbidoni or Dega guitars, including the Van Ghent tuners with octagonal covers most guitars of this galaxy have. Note the octave markers with a strikingly narrow spacing, this is a typical feature of the intermediate Morbidoni generation (the one with a Telecaster style headstock and a ‘M’ logo).

The lower part of the body with the embryonic third cutaway and the pointy horn reminds the Welson Jazz Vedette or Bartolini Supertone series, but the upper part with an equally pointy horn is absolutely specific. We have never seen anything like that elsewhere in the Bartolini-Gemelli galaxy. The handsome pre-Galanti Art-Deco headstock was also a Diamond exclusivity.

The very consistent and very special Ranger series, distributed only in the USA, is also very rare. In four years of research Fetishguitars.com has been able to detect only about ten specimens, which is our experience means that no more than thousand specimens were made.

Si notano i segnatasti dell’ottava con l’intervallo molto stretto, sono tipici delle Morbidoni della generazione intermedia (quella con paletta alla Telecaster e il logo ‘M’).

La parte inferiore del corpo, con l’insenatura atrofizzata e il corno appuntito, rievoca le Welson Jazz Vedette o la Bartolini della serie Supertone, ma la parte superiore con il corno ugualmente appuntito è assolutamente specifica. Mai si è visto niente di simile altrove nella galassia Bartolini-Gemelli. L’elegante paletta Art-Deco pre-Galantiana era un'altra esclusività di Diamond.

Queste Ranger molto omogenee e molto speciali, distribuite solo in USA, sono rarissime. In quattro anni di ricerca Fetishguitars.com ha potuto rintracciare solo una decina di esempi, il che secondo la nostra esperienza implica che ne siano state costruite al massimo un migliaio.
