How could there be no Vox copy? A guitar with no brand (a sense of decency or cheap glue?). The neck is perfect while the pick-ups so-so, but not much worse than the Vox originals. By the way, English cousins were produced just a few kilometers down the road. The attribution to Ariston is based on the pick-ups, which have only been seen on Ariston models up to now. But the proof is insufficient, the standards are iffy, and a future change of opinion is probable. We have seen a Phantom copy labeled Solo, but it didn’t help much…

Poteva mancare un'imitazione della Vox? Chitarra senza marchio (pudore, o colla molto debole?). Manico perfetto, pick-ups con qualche limite ma non molto peggio degli originali della Vox. Tra l'altro le cugine inglesi erano prodotte a pochi chilometri. L'attribuzione è basata sui pick-up, fin'ora visti solo su modelli Ariston. Ma la prova è debole, il criterio evanescente, una smentita futura probabile. Visto una phantom copy marchiata Solo, ma questo non aiuta...
