Besides the crazy body shape, two other features differ from the standard version: the bridge has a bone saddle, and the tuners have perloid buttons. Strangely, both bridge and machineheads are exactly the same on the 1965 versions of the Eko 995 violin bass. Those tuners were also fitted on Crucianelli basses of 1964 and all Eko basses of 1964/1965 but they are are rarely seen on German basses, aside from a few Framus and other Klira models. Not only there is no logo, but also no engraving on the tailpiece. From now on all the special 162-2 basses to come are no-name. Why?...

Oltre la sagoma matta del corpo, due altre caratteristiche sono diverse dalla versione standard: il ponte ha una selletta in osso, e le chiavette hanno bottoni perlinati. Stranamente, si ritrovano esattamente lo stesso ponte e le stesse chiavette sui bassi viola Eko 995 dal 1965. Tali chiavette erano anche usate da Crucianelli nel 1964 e per tutti i bassi Eko dal 1964-65 ma appaiono raramente sui bassi tedeschi, a parte pochi modelli Framus e altri di Klira. Non c'è nessun logo sulla paletta, neppure una incisione 'Klira' sull'attaccacorde. Ormai tutti gli altri bassi speciali 162-2 saranno anonimi. Perchè?...
