"I bought the guitar at Barth's Musikhaus, in Stuttgart,
Germany in 1960 or '61 (1963? ndr). Barth was Europe's largest instrument
store & was the main source for musicians all over. The 'only'
abuse I did to it, was to remove the heavy plastic silver-gold sparkle/glitter
covering, sorry to say.
Tech Details: 3-way adjustable Schaller P.U.'s. Lac/painted neck
& head with metal tag of Barth's Musikhaus & address info.
Thick rosewood fretboard, O fret with abalone dots. Neck truss bolted-on
with rod/nut adj. under chrome plate rear on body & nut under
plastic-top of head. Mute plate to help control feedback squeal."
