It could be expected that after Eko and Crucianelli, Welson would also release a dual Florentine cutaway semi. But you never see any — I mean, we never saw any until we got those photographs.

If this is not a a prototype, it must be an exception. I think it will take a long time till we hear of another one. Aside from the impressively pointy horns, hardware and specs are exactly the same as those of contemporary 335 styled Welson from the 1967-1968 era. Everything is original, everything is there, even trem arm and bridge cover. Wow!

Era scontato che dopo Eko e Crucianelli, anche Welson avrebbe fatto una semi-acustica fiorentina a due spalle mancanti. Però non se ne sono mai viste - voglio dire - finchè ci sono arrivate queste foto.

Se non è un prototipo, deve essere un’eccezione. Credo che ci vorrà molto tempo prima di vederne un’altra così. A parte gli impressionanti corni, l’hardware e le specifiche sono identici a quelli delle Welson in stile 335 dello stesso periodo 1967-1968. Tutto è originale e tutto è a posto, anche la leva e il copriponte.
