Aside from the plastic tip on the vibrato arm (which is more reminiscent of Fender than of local hardware supply in Castelfidardo) this guitar is even more original than most others: it still has its chrome bridge cover. This innovation, introduced in 1961 by Eko for its 400 (a.k.a. ‘Ekomaster’) series, was then duplicated by other Italian makers, first of all Welson (Crucianelli didn’t before 1965). Being fundamentally useless, this device is almost always missing.

A parte il bottone bianco sulla leva vibrato che rievoca più Fender che Castelfidardo, questa chitarra è ancora più originale di quasi tutte le altre: ha conservato il suo copriponte cromato. Questa innovazione, introdotta dalla Eko nel 1961 per la sua serie 400 (‘Ekomaster’) è stata riproposta da altri costruttori italiani, Welson per primo, Crucianelli solo verso il 1965. Essendo fondamentalmente inutile, quest’accessorio è quasi sempre assente.
