The marking on the tremolo assembly reads ‘Patented’ instead of ‘Brevettato’, which testifies that the device wasn’t made before mid-1962. The generally elusive vibrato arm is there and is original, a near miracle. The bridge is a German made replacement part.

The sparkle-striped pattern is slightly off axis. Furthermore the combination of stretching and shrinking processes involved as the celluloid foil was heat-molded on body top made so that the stripes tend to follow the curvaceous shaped contour: as a result a true work of op-art was obtained.

L’incisione sul vibrato riporta ‘Patented’, non più ‘Brevettato’. Basta questo per attestare che il dispositivo è fatto a partire dalla seconda metà del 1962. Presenza quasi miracolosa della generalmente introvabile leva originale. Il ponte invece è un ricambio di origine tedesca.

Il motivo a righe è leggermente fuori dall’asse. Inoltre, i fenomeni combinati di estensione e retrazione intervenuti quando la pellicola di celluloide e stata applicata a caldo sulla parte superiore del corpo hanno fatto sì che le righe tendano a seguire le curvature della sagoma: e così venne ottenuta una vera opera di optical art.
