A synthesis of the Gibson SG concept: the humbuckers and the enlarged pickguard hint at the post-1965 SG Standard, the bound fretboard with dot markers leans towards the SG Deluxe. The general impression is borderline plagiarism, especially the control knobs and the true-to-original bevelling of body edge.

Mind you, the neck is glued-in. First set-neck on a Welson electric since 1964. The vibrato remains the old device introduced that same year, virtually unchanged.

The Italian made tuners with octogon covers have specifically shaped buttons, also found on various high end Vox semi-acoustic guitars (Ultrasonic, Aristocrat, Viper, Saturn VI).

Una sintesi del concetto SG Gibson: gli humbuckers e il battipenna ampliato alludono alle SG Standard del dopo-1965, la tastiera filettata con pallini tende verso la SG Deluxe. L’impressione generale è quella d’un quasi plagio, in particolare le manopole e la sagomatura intorno al corpo, identiche all’originale.

E mi raccomando, c’è il manico incollato, il primo su una Welson elettrica sin dal 1964. Il vibrato resta quello introdotto lo stesso anno, quasi invariato.
Le chiavette ottogonali Made in Italy hanno i bottoni di una forma specifica, già vista su varie semi-acustiche Vox della gamma di lusso (Ultrasonic, Aristocrat, Viper, Saturn VI).
