Il marchio di Alfredo Menghini a
Castelfidardo ebbe come merito quello di rimanere
da sola ( eccetto Eko ) a tentare di resistere alla
produzione asiatica negli anni 80.
Famosa come tutti in quegli anni per
le copie dei modelli americani più diffusi.
Comunissima l'imitazione del diavoletto SG fino alla
riproposizione della doppio
manico alla Jimmy Page. Alcuni strumenti Gherson
furono marchiati Wonder
e Daytime. Menghini fece probabilmente anche copie
Eko come questa rokes e
questa kadett

production during the 1980's. It is famous, as were
most during those years, for its copies of popular
American models. Its most widespread success was the
imitation of the Gibson SG until the comeback of the Jimmy
Page-style double neck. Gherson was a brand name
of Menghini in Castelfidardo
