Incredible Carbon Fibre Back

Mint condition, and an extraordinary combination of finishes on this hard-tail 400. The top is coated with a rare pattern of fine pink spaghettis. The back is incredible, with a pattern that looks like an imitation of carbon fibre composite, a material that didn’t exist yet at that time… Just mind-boggling.

Léon Agel was a known figure on the Parisian musette music scene of the 40’s and 50’s, as a drummer and songwriter and then as a music publisher and instrument retailer. Among others he distributed Selmer Gypsy jazz guitars.
